Night Kitchen raises funds to buy a new keyboard!

Thanks to Andy & Ariana and all the artists who, at Night Kitchen Clavier last month, raised and donated funds to cover the cost of a new electronic keyboard for the Al Whittle Theatre. The old upright piano had to go, but has found a new home with Ryan Hupman; we know it will get lots of use there!

Here’s a link to the fabulous animation by local artist Anne MacMillan which premiered at the Whittle Big Man Gala April 26. This fun look at cinema nostalgia features the Acadia Cinema. Annie is a NSCAD BFA grad, originally from Wolfville, who has just been accepted into the digital animation program at MIT.
